Self-hosted monitoring and alerts, managed for you

If you want to know when a website, an API or a server goes down without paying per monitor, these are the self-hosted monitoring apps CoreHost runs for you. Uptime Kuma checks sites and services and sends the alert, Beszel shows the health of your own servers, and ntfy and Gotify deliver alerts to your phone. Each one is its own private instance at a flat monthly price, with daily backups and SFTP access included.

Which one do you need?

Most people start with Uptime Kuma. Add the addresses you care about, choose where alerts go, and you hear about an outage before your users tell you. Add Beszel when you run your own servers or a home lab and want to see why something is slow, not only that it is down.

ntfy and Gotify are the delivery end. Uptime Kuma, Beszel and many other self-hosted apps can send to them, and so can any script that can make an HTTP request. If anyone in your household or team uses an iPhone, pick ntfy: it has official apps for both Android and iPhone, while Gotify's official app is for Android.

Keep the monitor apart from what it watches

A monitor that shares a server with the things it checks goes down with them, and then nobody hears about it. On CoreHost your monitoring runs on its own instance, away from your own servers and your web host. If what you monitor also runs on CoreHost, put the monitor in the other region.

Checks run from the region you deploy in, so choose the one closest to the people who use your service. New apps can be deployed in Sydney, the US or Poland.

What it costs

Each app is priced on its own, and all four run on the Lite plan: US$1.10 a month in Poland or US$1.50 in Sydney. There is no charge per monitor, per check or per message. You top up a prepaid balance and your apps draw from it by the hour, and every new account starts with $5 of credit, no card needed.

  • One private instance per app, with its own CPU, memory and storage
  • Daily backups with one-click restore from your panel; encrypted backups are stored in the EU
  • SFTP access and a file manager for your app's data
  • Your own domain with automatic TLS
  • AI and human support that covers the app itself
  • Flat prices, prepaid in USD, AUD or EUR, drawn by the hour. See pricing
