Is this the official Bitwarden server?

No. Vaultwarden is an independent, open-source server that implements the same API, so official Bitwarden clients work with it. It is much lighter, which is why it runs well on the Lite tier.

Can you see my passwords?

No. Vaults are encrypted end-to-end with keys derived from your master password. We back up the encrypted data; only your clients can decrypt it.

What about two-factor authentication?

TOTP, WebAuthn/passkeys and email 2FA are supported. We recommend enabling 2FA on the vault and on your CoreHost account.
