How do I send my first notification?

Log in as admin, change the password, then open Apps and create an application to get a token. Send a message with curl, for example: curl -F 'title=Hello' -F 'message=It works' 'https://your-app-url/message?token=YOUR_TOKEN'. It appears instantly in the dashboard and on the Gotify app.

What is the default login?

The server starts with the username admin and password admin. Change the password immediately after your first login, since admin/admin is public knowledge. You can also create additional users and separate application tokens for each source.
