Sign in with the owner email and password shown on your app page, then finish Sure's short setup for your household, currency and country. Set Owner login email in the app's settings on CoreHost to your own address and restart, and Sure updates your owner account on the next start. The same setting resets a forgotten owner password.

How do I invite my partner or family?

Create an invite code in Sure under Settings, Self-Hosting, and give it to them. Keep sign ups on Invite only rather than Closed: in this version of Sure, Closed does not stop sign ups from the mobile app, while Invite only does. Add your SMTP server in the app's settings if you want Sure to email invitations.

Can it connect to my bank?

Only through a provider you sign up with yourself, such as SimpleFIN, Plaid or Enable Banking, using your own keys in Sure under Settings, Bank sync. Which banks each provider covers depends on your country, so check before you sign up. Without a feed, importing CSV exports from your bank works everywhere.

Is my financial data shared with anyone?

Your accounts and transactions stay in your app's own database on CoreHost. Data only leaves when you connect something that needs it: a bank feed provider, a market data source or an AI provider whose key you added. Leave those out and nothing is sent.

Why does it need the Standard plan?

Sure runs a web app, background workers, a PostgreSQL database and a cache side by side, and that wants 2 GB of memory to run well. A copy of the database is also saved every six hours inside the app, so the daily backup always holds a clean copy.

Who keeps Sure updated?

We do. Curated updates roll out shortly after upstream releases and are tested on our platform first; security fixes move fast. If an update changes behaviour in a breaking way, we email you before it lands.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Take a final export or SFTP copy any time before you cancel. After termination we keep your data for 14 days (in case you change your mind), then purge it, backups included.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Point a CNAME at your instance, prove ownership with a TXT record, and TLS certificates are issued automatically. Cloudflare-proxied domains work; if you use CAA records, allow letsencrypt.org.
