DocuSealWhat you're getting
DocuSeal turns a PDF into a form that people fill in and sign online. Upload a contract, an onboarding pack or a consent form, drag signature, initials, date, text, checkbox and file fields onto the pages, then send it to one signer or several in a set order. Signers open a link on their phone or computer and sign without creating an account.
When everyone has signed, each party gets the completed PDF with a digital signature, and an audit log shows who signed, from which address and when. Keep reusable templates in folders, follow the progress of each request, and use the API and webhooks to start signing requests from your own systems.
On CoreHost, DocuSeal runs with its own storage, hosted in Sydney or Poland. Your instance is created with a private owner account before it first opens, so nobody else can claim it, and signing requests go out through your own email server, which you add in DocuSeal's settings. We handle the server, TLS, updates and daily backups, and encrypted backups are stored in the EU.

Moving to CoreHostMove your existing DocuSeal here
Already running DocuSeal on PikaPods, a VPS or your own server? You can bring your data with you. Deploy the app here first, then follow the route below, and keep your old app until you are happy.
Tell us what you are moving
DocuSeal encrypts its saved email password and signing certificates with a secret key, so a copy of the data only works when the same key is carried over. Open a ticket to move an existing DocuSeal; to start fresh, upload your PDFs as new templates.
Ways to move it
- Do it yourself. Deploy DocuSeal, let it start once, then use the steps on this page, with SFTP and the file manager in the Files tab. A backup taken first gives you a clean point to go back to.
- Ask us to move it. Open a ticket from your control panel with the app and where it runs now. Support will tell you what can be moved and help you do it, and nobody touches your old app.
Coming from PikaPods? Switch on SFTP in the pod's settings, stop the pod and copy its files; PikaPods documents this as its manual backup for migrations.
