Managed Radicale hosting

On iPhone and iPad go to Settings, Calendar, Accounts, Add Account, Other, and add a CalDAV account and a CardDAV account with your Radicale address, the owner user name and the password from your app page. Signed in to the Radicale web page, the address /.mobileconfig downloads a profile that sets up both at once. On Android install DAVx5 and add an account with your full https address.

Yes. Make an account for each person with the console command adduser and a name; its password is shown once in the console. Every account has its own calendars and address books. Turn on "Users can read each other's calendars" in the settings if you want everybody to see each other's calendars, for example for a family calendar. Nobody can sign up over the web.

Enter a new owner password under Settings and restart. The old password stops working, so update it on every device. The password of an extra account is changed with the console command passwd and the name.

After 10 wrong passwords from one address within 10 minutes, that address cannot sign in for 15 minutes. That stops password guessing, but a phone with an old password counts too. Update the password on the device, then wait or use the console command unlock. Both numbers can be changed in the settings.

Yes. Export them from your current service as .ics and .vcf files and import them in the Radicale web page, or upload them over SFTP. Your phone can also copy its existing events and contacts into the new account.

Your instance is yours alone, in your chosen region, with daily encrypted backups. We access instance contents only to operate the service. The acceptable use policy spells that out.

We do. Curated updates roll out shortly after upstream releases and are tested on our platform first; security fixes move fast. If an update changes behaviour in a breaking way, we email you before it lands.

Take a final export or SFTP copy any time before you cancel. After termination we keep your data for 14 days (in case you change your mind), then purge it, backups included.

Yes. Point a CNAME at your instance, prove ownership with a TXT record, and TLS certificates are issued automatically. Cloudflare-proxied domains work; if you use CAA records, allow letsencrypt.org.
