PrivateBinWhat you're getting
PrivateBin is a minimalist, open source pastebin where the server has zero knowledge of what it stores. You paste text, code or a note, choose when it expires and optionally add a password, and your browser encrypts it with AES-256 before anything is sent. You get a link whose key sits after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server, so only people you give the whole link to can read the document.
It supports burn after reading, syntax highlighting, Markdown, optional encrypted comments and optional file attachments. Expired documents are deleted automatically, and you decide the default expiry, the size limit and how often one visitor can post.
On CoreHost, PrivateBin runs with its own storage, hosted in Sydney, the US or Poland. Your instance is public by design: anyone with a document's link can read that document, and anyone who can reach the site can create one within the limits you set. We handle the server, TLS, updates and daily backups.

Ways to move it
- Do it yourself. Deploy PrivateBin, let it start once, then use the steps on this page, with SFTP and the file manager in the Files tab. A backup taken first gives you a clean point to go back to.
- Ask us to move it. Open a ticket from your control panel with the app and where it runs now. Support will tell you what can be moved and help you do it, and nobody touches your old app.
Coming from PikaPods? Switch on SFTP in the pod's settings, stop the pod and copy its files; PikaPods documents this as its manual backup for migrations.
