HomerWhat you're getting
Homer is a static start page for everything you run. Groups, links, icons and colours all live in one YAML file, and Homer turns it into a clean dashboard with search, keyboard shortcuts, and light and dark themes.
There is no database and no server code, so there is almost nothing to go wrong. Smart cards can show live status from tools such as Uptime Kuma or Pi-hole, and those checks run in your browser, so the dashboard never needs a network path to your home services.
On CoreHost you edit homer/assets/config.yml in the Files tab or over SFTP, save, and reload the page. Your config and icons are included in the daily backups, and you can put the whole page behind a password from Settings.

Already running Homer on PikaPods, a VPS or your own server? You can bring your data with you. Deploy the app here first, then follow the route below, and keep your old app until you are happy.
Copy your files across
Upload your logos, icons and wallpapers to homer/assets with the Files tab or SFTP, and put your config.yml next to them. Hidden files and symbolic links are ignored here.
Ways to move it
- Do it yourself. Deploy Homer, let it start once, then use the steps on this page, with SFTP and the file manager in the Files tab. A backup taken first gives you a clean point to go back to.
- Ask us to move it. Open a ticket from your control panel with the app and where it runs now. Support will tell you what can be moved and help you do it, and nobody touches your old app.
Coming from PikaPods? Switch on SFTP in the pod's settings, stop the pod and copy its files; PikaPods documents this as its manual backup for migrations.
