DashyWhat you're getting
Dashy is a self-hosted start page. List the apps, links and services you use in sections, give each one an icon, pick a theme, and add widgets such as clocks, weather, RSS feeds and status checks. It becomes the page every browser opens to and the one place your team goes to find things.
The whole dashboard is a single YAML file, conf.yml. Edit it in Dashy's built in editor or directly over SFTP; Dashy saves a dated backup of the file before each save from the editor, supports several pages, more than a dozen themes and a search bar that jumps straight to an item.
On CoreHost the dashboard is private from the first boot. A login protects the configuration, the editor and the status and proxy endpoints, with a password generated for your instance, so it is never an open page on the internet.
CoreHost runs Dashy in Sydney or Poland with TLS, daily backups and updates handled for you. It needs very little memory and runs comfortably on the Lite plan.

Already running Dashy on PikaPods, a VPS or your own server? You can bring your data with you. Deploy the app here first, then follow the route below, and keep your old app until you are happy.
Copy your files across
Upload the conf.yml from your existing Dashy install over SFTP into the main folder and reload the page. Check the file for secrets such as widget API keys before you upload it.
Ways to move it
- Do it yourself. Deploy Dashy, let it start once, then use the steps on this page, with SFTP and the file manager in the Files tab. A backup taken first gives you a clean point to go back to.
- Ask us to move it. Open a ticket from your control panel with the app and where it runs now. Support will tell you what can be moved and help you do it, and nobody touches your old app.
Coming from PikaPods? Switch on SFTP in the pod's settings, stop the pod and copy its files; PikaPods documents this as its manual backup for migrations.
